Stake Temple Day, Tuesday, June 8th
Evening sessions are generally better attended during the weekdays and our stake has made a commitment to the temple to provide as many patrons during the daytime hours as possible. We need your support to fulfill this commitment. To help in leveling out the anticipated increase in daytime attendance, we are encouraging each ward to attend specific endowment sessions throughout the day, either before or after the chapel session. Rather than assign specific Ward temple session times, please follow the simple guidelines below:
Sessions and ordinances before the Chapel session at 10:00 AM; Cave Creek, Desert Hills, Desert Ridge, Larkspur, and Pinnacle Peak
Members should plan to attend as many sessions as possible. We understand that certain commitments may prevent being able to attend at specified times, but we believe that there will be a special spirit in those sessions where ward members are able to attend together.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for the members of our stake to take full advantage of the New Family Search capability at the Mesa Temple and prepare family names for the temple that day. Your Ward Family History Consultant is willing and able to help in this effort. Stake prepared family names will also be available that day at the Temple Recorders Office.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact:

Last Sunday for Donations.
Just a reminder that this sunday is the last sunday to bring your items to donate.
Thank you. Sister Schneider and Primary Presidency.
A Primary Service Introduction Activity
We are getting geared up for our Service Activity, A Walk through Galilee! May 7th.
Our primary is teaming with the scouts to help troops in Afghanistan who are helping the children over there.
We need your children's service and this is how:
Our primary will be writing letters of thanks to these troops for their service in class. There are also several items that we will be collecting to send to the troops for the children they are outreaching to. Our hope is that you will get your children involved by having them earn the money from around the house jobs to pay for the items needed.
Another idea is go through your small toys at home and if you would like to donate them as well you can send them in (like MacDonald toys). A box will be in the primary room to drop items it for the next couple of weeks. They would like them all by April 25th. Thanks for your help! -
The Primary Presidency
Suggested Items:
Baby or hand wipes
Q tips
Snacks
Dried or canned meats, such as jerky or tuna
School/Art supplies for the Afghan children
Toys for the Afghan children
Children’s artwork
Letters from the scouts thanking them for their support

Relief Society Service Auction- March 23 @ 7:00pm
Our next Relief Society Meeting we will be having a Service Auction. We need everyone to participate to make this a success! We are asking that each sister signs up to auction off a service that they would like to perform for another sister. Think about what service you might like to receive and offer it to auction, or think of your strengths that would be helpful to another sister. Some suggestions might be taking baked goods for FHE, babysitting while a sister goes to the temple, making a FHE kit, teaching or tutoring a skill, etc. Please contact Liza Richards, Mindy Young or Andi Laney with questions.
